JeM Collection Contemporary Blue Brown Acrylic Art on Textured Canvas

4x4
I have a new favorite coffee cup I picked up in Maine from a local potter.  I was inspired by the blues and whites streaming down the coffee cup's sides.  This painting was created with super glossy gel for the underneath texture, with a few coffee beans coated and placed on the canvas.  The coffee beans became my rocks as the waters fall from the edge of the cliff.

Today we are venturing to a place where there are a lot of cliffs, and so much texture.  I hope to find some inspiration at the Grand Canyon today!  I can't wait to see it in all of its majesty.

No wonder that painting had a familiar feel. Also, I could see the cliffs, rocks, and waterfall. Be careful and Be inspired!

This is wonderful, if a pottery mug inspired you I can only imagine what the Grand C will produce!

Oh I am so loving blue these days. How clever to stick those coffee beans in there too for texture. Brilliant. I hope you had a great time at the Grand Canyon. It IS amazing. I loved visiting!!

Mary, I didn't fall of the cliff at the Grand Canyon, although Eli did...

Mariza, trying to be creative!

Jen, it was amazing, so refreshing. I could have pulled up a chair and sat for hours.
